Mission Statement
The Community & Economic Development Department works to promote economic growth; preserve and enhance neighborhoods and the environment; and improve the quality of life for all residents of Medway.
The Department oversees the implementation and coordination of community and economic development plans, programs and services. The Department will help to coordinate efforts with other Town Departments, local and regional organizations, and state and federal agencies in focusing attention on these goals. Provides administrative and technical support to the Medway Redevelopment Authority, the Planning and Economic Development Board, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Conservation Commission, the Historical Commission, the Affordable Housing Committee and Affordable Housing Trust, the Economic Development Committee, the Open Space Committee and others.
The Department also works with businesses to locate, expand and strengthen the community through investment and by creating and retaining jobs. Whether it's technical assistance, site search, zoning and permitting, or identifying and accessing potential business development resources, we can assist and connect your business to an array of tools to help you grow and succeed in Medway.
