You may be eligible for an abatement of all or part of the bill.  Abatements are granted by the Board of Assessors.  If the bill is due now, you should pay the bill on or before the due date to avoid additional charges.  The Town will refund if you receive an abatement that causes an overpayment in excess of $5. 

If your bill is not due for some time, you should seek your abatement first.
