Earlier this month, Chief Lynch was honored to visit the Congressional Service Institute in Washington, DC. He represented the Norfolk County Fire Chiefs and Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts. During the event, the group met with MA legislative delegates to advocate for continued funding of the Fire Act and SAFER grant programs. Additionally, representatives from the association were present to advocate for initiatives such as legislation supporting cancer research, funding for the US Fire Administration and National Fire Academy, grants for rural EMS agencies, and support initiatives for volunteer and call firefighters.
