The Town of Medway was alerted today that a local business received an email claiming to be from a Town official seeking payment of funds. This email was not prepared or sent by the Town, and a review of the email and web addresses confirmed that it originated from a non-Town source. Out of an abundance of caution, we are alerting the Community today of this SCAM, and urging residents and businesses alike to not respond to any email seeking funds, money or information on behalf of the Town. Town of Medway officials do not use email to seek funds.
