Town offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth honors the end of slavery in the United States. It commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
We encourage everyone to take this day to reflect on, learn about, and celebrate African American history, culture, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.
Regular office hours will resume on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 7:30 am.
