FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDICS

Responsibilities include:   Respond to medical emergencies, fire suppression, fire prevention, and performing station duties.

Minimum Qualifications: Eighteen years of age, High School graduate or equivalent, valid driver’s license, hold a current Paramedic License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The selected candidates will be required to successfully pass: a CORI; a background check; a physical exam including drug testing; PAT; and successfully complete the MA Fire Academy Firefighter training. Candidates and Veterans with previous successful completion of the MA Fire Academy or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience as a Paramedic in a 911 service will be given preference.
