Shining a spotlight on student excellence and real-world problem-solving! 🌟 Last night, the Select Board recognized five incredible Medway High School students for their award-winning engineering projects.
📱 Bridget Tonelli, Macy Healy (not present), and Isabella Webb (Seniors) won the Project Lead the Way Capstone Program Award for their 'ToneIn App.' Their app helps individuals who struggle to communicate verbally—such as deaf, mute, or speech-impeded individuals, express spoken messages without losing the personal nuances of conversation.
🤖 Jaswanth Bandaru and Tanish Asu (Freshmen) won the Project of Distinction Award for 'Mission: Controller.' They designed a sleek, mounted holder for the VEX V5 controllers in the high school robotics lab that allows for easy charging, protects the gear from damage, and minimizes material waste.
We are so proud of your innovation, empathy, and hard work! 👏 #MedwayPride
