Public Hearing on November 6 - Town of Medway Seeks Public Comment on Draft FY24 Application to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Brownfield's Cleanup Grant

The Town of Medway seeks public comment on the Draft FY24 Application to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Brownfield's Cleanup Grant. The Town of Medway is applying for an EPA Cleanup Grant to request funding for the remedial activities for the former Medway Block site at 120 Main Street. As part of the application process, the Select Board and Department of Public Works will host a public hearing to solicit public input during the November 6, 2023, Select Board meeting at Town Hall, 155 Village Street. Members of the public may watch the meeting on Medway Cable Access (Channel 6 on Comcast or Channel 25 on Verizon Cable) or online at www.facebook.com/medwaycable/ or livestream.com/medwaycableaccess/selectboard or live-streamed on Town of Medway's Fb page.

During the meeting, the Department of Public Works and Select Board will discuss the draft application and respond to public comments and questions. A copy of the draft application and draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA) will be available for review at the Town Clerk’s Office (155 Village Street) and online on the “120 Main Street Rehabilitation Project” webpage.

Public comments can be sent via email to dpw@townofmedway.org until noon on November 10, 2023, or given in writing to the Town Clerk before close of business on November 9, 2023.
