Mackenzie Leahy recently joined the Town of Medway as Administrative Assistant for Community & Economic Development, a new position.  Leahy is a recent dean’s list graduate of Bridgewater State University, where she earned both a B.S. in Geography and a B.A. in Music.  She also minored in Geographic Information Systems and Performance.  While a student she worked as a planning intern for the towns of Carver and Foxborough.  She also completed a two part GIS project that determined land use changes from 1971 to 1999 and analyzed the central business district for the town of Bridgewater.  Mackenzie is an active volunteer with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, the Relay for Life, and Free the Children.
